contracting to industrial customers in Trinidad and Tobago
SUMMIT's
customer list includes GE Energy, BP, British Gas, Fluor Daniel, YARA Trinidad Limited, PCS Nitrogen Trinidad Limited, Methanex Trinidad Limited, Atlas Methanol Company
Unlimited, El Paso Energy (Coastal Aruba), and Duke Fluor/Daniel on the InnCOGEN Power Plant.
SUMMIT provided approximately
35,000 manhours of engineering and construction supervision
services for Ionics Constructors Trinidad Limited on the Desalination
Project, and approximately 40,000 manhours of engineering and
project management for US$8MM worth of the US$45MM upgrade and
shutdown work at the Cliffs and Associates Limited DRI Plant.
SUMMIT with strategic alliance partner, Fluor Daniel was awarded
the Next Field Development Projects NFD1-NFD4 with BP Trinidad
and Tobago (bpTT), EPCM work which provided Trinidad and
Tobago engineers and technicians with the technical training
to allow them to execute future offshore work on home soil.
SUMMIT currently has a full-time
staff of approximately 80, among whom are engineers, technicians
and construction personnel that provide its customers with basic
engineering and design, design review, project planning, scheduling,
purchasing, contracting, cost control, contractor management,
and overall construction management.
